On view is Rebecca Lobo's basketball jersey from the 1996 Summer Olympic Games, where she won a gold medal as part of the U.S. women's team. In college, she played for the University of Connecticut Lady Huskies, winners of the 1995 National Championship. In 1997, she was drafted into the newly formed Women's National Basketball Association (WNBA) as a member of the New York Liberty.
